Creting an art show with your child's Green Moon ART WORK

We cannot believe it’s week 9 of our Spring Session!

Children have learned about acrylic paint, collage techniques, clay, coloring with pencils, abstract drawing, Pablo Picasso, MIXING colors like teal, turquoise, tangerine, and more.

The last day of our Spring session is Friday May 25 for Rowayton and June 1 for Greenwich , 2012. That week we will be sending home your children's portfolios.  Please make this a MAGNIFICENT event for you and your child by having a mini art show at your home and unpacking their art work. You will find our 9 week mini collages (must be unwrapped), CooCoo Clocks, Rain Bow ART, picture frames, mini crowns, prints, drawings, self portraits, and more! They are extremely proud. Please enjoy and discuss their artwork with them!

Calling Mother's and Sons!

Calling Mothers and Sons! Is Dad taking your Daughter to the Rowayton Library Father Daughter Ball? Spend some quality time with the younger man in your life! We are gearing up for another one of our fun filled special workshops!!

All of our glitter, hearts, red and pink paints are ready for you and your children.

What are you doing with your children for Valentine's Day? Perhaps some quiet time creating art for the people you love. Not just family, but what about the people who touch you throughout the year. People at school, the library, your favorite shop that you go to all the time, the bus driver or neighbor.

A craft that is as simple as eating a box of chocolates is glitter glue. Simply mix 1 cup Elmers Glue with 2 tablespoons glitter. Use a Q-tip to paint easy shapes onto a heart shaped peice of paper. Punch a hole and hang with a red ribbon or adress to your sweet heart!
